Prof. Soumen Roy (Dept. of Physical Sciences, Bose Institute) spoke on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and health in the Science and G20 programme of All India Radio (Akashavani), Kolkata. He touched upon electronic health records, text-mining, and the requirement of framing appropriate Laws in India to encourage and regulate AI in health and medicine. He also discussed the role of AI in protein structure prediction and its relation to drug discovery, smart devices, non-invasive diagnostics, and, ended with quantum artificial intelligence.
